Sunday Service

Our services have a contemporary feel, and our music is sometimes familiar, sometimes original, and always uplifting and gender inclusive.

We use various Bible translations, but principally the New Revised Standard Version, Updated Edition (NRSVUE), along with the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. These two books are our Pastor.

You can access a PDF below with this week’s Bible Lesson Subject, including the Golden Text and Responsive Reading citations as well as the words for the music. (The PDF is updated weekly; generally on Saturdays.)

Sunday services are at 10:00 AM Central Time and are held in person and via Zoom.  For the very young, child care is provided.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School is where young people (up to the age of 20) and their teachers:

• Learn about the Bible and how to apply its truths to their lives
• Find ways to pray and rely on God for every need
• Ask questions and search together for answers in a safe and comfortable environment
• Explore their spiritual identity and relationship with God and God’s creation
• Practice talking about spirituality and Christian Science with others

As in church, everyone is accepted, respected, and unconditionally loved, wherever they are on their spiritual journey, even if they may not think they are on one!

Sunday School is held in person only at the same time as the church service. For those too young to attend, child care is provided.

Wednesday

Prayer and Share

We call our Wednesday evening meetings “Prayer and Share.” These meetings begin with readings from our pastor, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Readers pick a specific topic for their readings and use a variety of contemporary Bible translations.

After the readings, there is time for those attending to share insights, healings, or questions.

As on Sundays, music for our Prayer and Share service is often contemporary and always uplifting. At the end of the service, we encourage everyone on Zoom to unmute and enjoy some heartfelt fellowship.

Prayer and Share meetings are at 7:30 PM Central Time via Zoom and in person on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.
